Lessons with a pro
Vin decided to pursue a career as a PGA professional after a teaching and IT background for the past 20 years.
Vin’s goal is to help golfers play better, enjoy the game, and build confidence through simple, personalized instruction focused on lasting improvement.
Golf has been a major part of my life from a young age, and I have dedicated years to competing at a high level and developing my game. As a junior golfer, I competed at a very high level, winning over 100 tournaments, including an AJGA event. I continued my competitive career at Dallas Baptist University, where I competed at the NCAA Division II level and gained valuable experience playing against some of the best collegiate golfers in the country. Today, I am pursuing my goal of playing on the PGA Tour as a professional golfer, traveling across the country competing on various mini tours and working toward earning my way to the highest level of the game. Through my own experiences, I have developed a deep understanding of the technical, mental, and competitive aspects of golf. I am passionate about sharing that knowledge with golfers of all ages and skill levels and helping them build confidence, improve their game, and reach their own goals through coaching at Fit4Birdies.
Kirk has taught players at every level of the game — first-time beginners, collegiate athletes and touring professionals — and his students have won at the highest levels of junior and amateur golf.
At the core of his teaching is the belief that no two swings should look the same. He builds instruction around each golfer’s physical capabilities, goals and learning style, working toward a motion that is both repeatable and easy on the body.
A hallmark of his instruction is a ball-flight-first approach: fix what the ball is doing before making mechanical changes, so every adjustment is purposeful, measurable and tied to what happens on the course.
